Week 3 progress

So I missed my Monday update. Having 5 kids and working full-time, some times, things come up. Being a mom took precedence over my blogging yesterday. But I’m back today!! Here’s my week 3 update of getting back to being fit.

As always, my work outs were tough to squeeze in and took some juggling and support from my husband. I was once again only able to do 4 of the 5 work outs.  I will say that I’m already noticing changes even after 3 weeks and it feels great. I’ve been eating pretty healthy during the week and I’ll cheat occasionally on the weekend. On Friday I had minor surgery that required a decent size incision and stitches. The doctor said that I should be able to return to my workouts on Saturday so I figured I would make up the last work out over the weekend. Friday night was tough but I figured I’ll feel better in the morning. On Saturday, trying to just run after my 1-year-old felt like my stitches were going to rip out. Needless to say, I did not get my work out in over the weekend.

On Monday, I was determined to get my work out in. Thank God for the moderator! It was a cardio work out and nearly impossible to finish with out the help. But I did it. Today’s work out was much better and I feel like I’m finally on the mend. I’m looking forward to finishing a full week of work outs this week!
